Colo. Sprgs, Dec 31, 2008 -  A new chapter begins
in the history of the Fil-Am Community of Southern
Colorado, as newly elected officers took up the task of shaping  
the future of the community. The induction, which took place at   
the CrownePlaza Hotel,  was held on 31December 2008. Mr.
Ron Nono, the Fil-Am Founder, conducted the Oath of Office to
the officers. Newly elected Fil-Am Persident, Mrs. Ruby Ioapo,  
reaffirmed the need for unity and support from the community.
She also stated the much greater  need for members to be even
more active in the community. In her address to the Community,  
Mrs. Ioapo promises an exciting year that will surely be
remembered for generations to come.
