Fil-Am Community of Southern Colorado

2009 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade
" THE UNWAVERING FORCE"

7 November 2009
The 2009 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade included more
than 100 participants from the local military and civilian communities.
The parade began on the corner of Tejon and St. Vrain Streets,
marching south on Tejon, and ending on the corner of Tejon and
Vermijo Avenue.

There were marching bands, motorcycles, floats and veterans,
vehicles and equipment from the past and present represented,
some from conflicts dating back to World War II

As they marched down Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs,
the cheers from the nearby crowds made the men and women of
Filipino-American Community of Southern Colorado march a little
taller and with a little more pride in their hearts.

The Filipino-American  Community of Southern Colorado support
shown to our military gives us all an overwhelming sense of pride
and we thanks those who attended and participated in this year's
parade.
